Niamh Regan & Christof Van Der Ven

SOLD OUT.

Ahead of the release of her much anticipated second album in Spring 2024, Niamh Regan will perform an intimate show at Dublin's Unitarian Church on Saturday 2nd March.

Niamh Regan has been teasing some new songs on the road around Ireland and the UK recently, be the first to hear them in full early 2024 as she embarks on a tour across Ireland. The acclaimed songwriter has spent much of 2023 in the studio working on her next record. Niamh’s debut album Hemet (2020, Black Gate Records) announced her arrival as one of the most distinctive songwriters in Ireland today. Earning nominations for both the RTE Folk Awards’ and the Choice Awards’ Album of the Year, it received soaring praise and led to captivating performances on The Late Late Show, Other Voices, and La Blogothèque.
“A game-changing record” – The Journal of Music
“A quietly stunning debut” – The Sunday Times
“A quiet and determined triumph” – The Irish Times
“One of the best albums released this year… sublime” – Nialler9
“Stunning” – Hot Press
“A bewitching album” – Irish Independent
“A heartfelt, timeless, and captivating release” – Folk Radio UK
In recent months, Niamh has popped up on stages at home and overseas - Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival saw her collaborate with Olafur Arnalds, Talos, Ye Vagabonds + many more; she previewed some new songs with a full band for Other Voices UCC; played to packed festival tents on a month-long country-wide tour of Australia in March; did a run of shows in intimate venues across Switzerland; and opened for CMAT, Sam Amidon, Sorcha Richardson, John Grant, Patrick Watson, and SOAK, across Ireland and the UK.
“I'm excited because I'm bursting with new songs, but I'm also a little nervous sticking my neck out again after spending a lot of time doing support slots and hiding away writing the past while. I had serious fun supporting CMAT in the UK and Sorcha Richardson, John Grant, and Pa Sheehy around Ireland, it was so great to meet so many new lovely people and hopefully I might see you at one of these shows.” - Niamh Regan
