Colourgrade, Tirzah’s remarkable second album was released last Friday. The much anticipated follow up to her cult debut album Devotion (2018), Colourgrade explores recovery, gratitude and new beginnings, presenting a singer having discovered the type of love that is shared between a mother and a child for the first time, whilst simultaneously working as an artist.
Critical Praise for Colourgrade:
"We tend to measure life by the dots on the timeline, but Colourgrade studies all the distance in between, absorbing each moment and making space for it to settle. The songs move between rumination and enchantment, simulating the multiplicities of being alive" Pitchfork Best New Music 8.5
“The Londoner recalls Young Marble Giants in her ability to do so much with so little.”The Guardian
“Perfectly imperfect modern pop” Dazed
"The clarity of emotion is piercing" The New York Times

“Disarming minimalism” Wall Street Journal
“Hypnotic intimacies that draw you in” The Observer
“The imperfections and laidback nuances of the lo-fi aesthetic on Colourgrade demonstrate that modern love songs can hit places you never thought they had the integrity to ever reach” The Quietus Album of the Week
“Colourgrade is a meditation on where you end and someone else begins” Stereogum
“If Tirzah’s cult classic debut 'Devotion' was a late-night album, then 'Colourgrade' is the morning light” CRACK
“Seriously spell-binding. A low-key legend” Resident Advisor
“Sparse, heart-wrenching and sumptuous” Mixmag
